Mark Webber is a designer who works with a fair bit with lino prints. I like the type from the first image, there is clear consistency in the font but each letter has it’s own characteristic because of the hand drawn element giving it all a little personality. The lines used to create textures on clothing, shading and as method for creating hair it works well and is a good technique for lino print, it all has a lovely scratched effect to it rather then straight block colours sometimes used in lino work. The font Webber has used for each image fits with style, the hair from the image of the man has a flowing look to it which works with the round font.
