Just wow. These actually are beautiful wood block prints. The styling kind of resembles water colour paintings, so to get this effect from a wood cut is a great achievement, as it would be able to produce several of the design, yet still have the print quality and feel. I love the attention to detail, so intricate and every aspect considered. The colours and style scream out Japanese art and culture, you can tell the artists’ influences came from their home environment and lifestyle.
